BY PLANE
Barbados provides more daily connecting flights to Bequia (BQU) and St. Vincent (SVD) than any other gateway airport but we can also be reached via Grenada (GND), Trinidad (POS), Martinique (FDF), Antigua (ANU), St. Lucia (SLU) and San Juan Puerto Rico (SJU).
From Barbados you can fly to Bequia with Grenadine Alliance Airways/SVG Air (flight time is approximately 35 minutes depending on the number of scheduled stops).
The last flight into Bequia Airport leaves Barbados at 4:30 pm EST. Return flights depart Bequia at 10:50 am EST.
Alternatively, Barbados, Antigua, Grenada and Trinidad, offer air connections to St. Vincent on LIAT airlines and from here you can travel to Bequia using the local ferry.
BY FERRY
If you are flying into St. Vincent, you can take a taxi to the ferry dock. Ferry services run several times a day between the Grenadines Wharf in Kingstown and Port Elizabeth in Bequia.
Sailing time is about 1 hour and the last ferry departs St. Vincent for Bequia at 6pm.
BY PRIVATE CHARTER
Your other option after arriving at one of the Caribbean gateways is a private charter. Friendship House can arrange a private boat charter from Barbados, St. Lucia, or Grenada. If you are interested this service, please contact us to arrange.
