Los Morontes a fabulous 5 bedroom villa located on the mountain top overlooking the ancient Moorish village of Mojacar on the coast of Almeria, Southern Spain. It’s commanding position provides a magnificent wedding location, complete privacy and breathtaking views along the coast as far as Cartegena. This villa in Spain is surrounded by acres of mountains on all sides, but only a few minutes drive down the windy mountain road to the long stretch of beach, and where there are also an variety of restaurants, shops and activities. Mojacar is still a relatively undiscovered coastal area so the miles of nearby beaches can be enjoyed along with the the timeless villages such as Mojacar and Bedar with their narrow cobbled streets and Arabic architecture, or the fishing villages of Garrucha or the Cabo de Gata National Park. Golf is also plentiful in the area with several Golf courses including the championships courses of Valle del Este and Desert Springs. Other activities include tennis, bowls, walking, riding, fishing, diving, and all other water-sports – Mojacar has something for everyone.

Los Morontes is spacious with contemporary stylish interiors, with white walls and light yellow marble floors throughout. Each room designed to take full advantage of the amazing views and the sunlight which floods every corner of the villa. The lounge has large glass picture windows providing the ultimate vie, and the decoration is modern and uncluttered with light furnishings and large pictures. All bathrooms are tiled throughout with marble sink surrounds. The villa is surrounded by shaded terraces and gardens, which are also furnished with sofas and dining furniture and overlook the pool and lawn area. The infinity edge swimming pool ( 10m x 5m) is spectacular giving the illusion that the pool water joins the sea and an amazing sense of being on top of the world.

The villa accommodation is arranged over three floors, the lower ground, which is accessed through the garage, the ground which is accessed through the main entrance and the upper floor. The villa provides under floor cooling or heating, and ceiling fans, safes in each bedroom and all floors are connected through the beautiful central marble staircase. Every room with the exception of the garage has fantastic views of the coastline.

Ground floor
The main entrance to the house is accessed through a courtyard patio, to the main door and into a spacious hallway, which leads to the open plan living/dining area and the glass wall overlooking the lipless swimming. There is round dining area is situated beneath a large Moorish style dome with a glass table seating up to 8/10 people, and looks onto the outdoor terraces and the coastline below. There is a TV, DVD ad CD player plus WiFi. From the living areas there is access to the garden, swimming pool and the various terraces. The large terrace off the lounge and the kitchen is an ideal area for alfresco dining. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric ceramic hob, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, and juice extractor.

Also on this floor is the master bedroom with double bed, en-suite bathroom containing separate shower and bath and a small balcony looking out to the mountains and there are double glass doors opening onto the terrace with views of the sea. There is also a guest toilet with hand basin.

Lower level
On the lower level are three further double bedrooms and one twin room each individually decorated and double glass doors leading out to the lower garden area. There are also two further separate bathrooms.

On this level there is also a large garage for parking up to 3 cars – plus there is table tennis , freezers , TV , games, books etc

On the mezzanine level between the lower and ground floors, there is a laundry room containing a washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities.

Upper level
The upper floor is accessed by the marble staircase leading from the ground floor. It leads out onto the solarium/roof terrace where additional private sunbathing is possible.
