Villa Hibiscus is a luxury holiday villa in Borneo, located in the Kudat Peninsular on the North coast amongst the undulating hills and valleys, lush forests, coral-fringed coastline, secluded sandy coves and clear azure waters creating the natural landscape of Malaysian Borneo. The villa is only a 5 minute drive from Borneo’s northern most tip, where the famous landmark, Simpang Mengayau, or the Tip of Borneo is located. The tropical landscaped grounds surrounding this 3 bedroom villa extend over 2 acres and offer breathtaking views of the South China Sea, access through the gardens to a secluded white sandy beach and the local town of Kudat is 25 minutes drive away. Kudat, a commercial fishing port and has a wide range of restaurants, shops and banks, with daily markets, an 18-hole golf course and marina, a fresh fish market and hospital.

A private driveway runs through the grounds of this former coconut plantation which is filled with exotic plants and flowers including hibiscus, ornamental bananas, bird of paradise, palms, orchids, tree ferns etc and leads to Villa Hibiscus. As soon as you enter, you are welcomed by the most amazing views and infinity pool.

The villa itself covers 6,000 square feet and provides relaxation within its peaceful and tranquil setting along with all the modern comforts and facilities making Villa Hibiscus a great choice for friends, families, honeymooners to enjoy a luxury villa holiday experience in magical Borneo.

Villa Hibiscus can sleep eight guests (6 + 2) in 3 spacious bedrooms - two with king-size beds and one with twin beds which has two additional built-in pull-out beds, ideal for a family group. Each room offers crisp cotton linen, air conditioning, en-suite bathrooms and flat screen televisions.
The King master bedroom is located on the 1st floor and has a large balcony with spectacular views of the South China Sea.
Bedrooms 2 and 3 are located on the ground floor. Bedroom 2 is at the front of the villa, with folding glass and timber doors and views of the pool and garden.

The villa design is open plan, creating large living and dining areas with folding doors leading out onto spacious balconies bringing together the inside and outdoors. There are two spacious lounge areas, including a ground floor lounge, with folding doors on two sides and the fully equipped kitchen built using exotic timbers, granite work surface and has a breakfast bar. The first floor lounge has a television area with large flat screen television, a satellite receiver and has amazing sea views. The dining area seats 12 around a tropical hardwood table and what ever room guests are relaxing in, the stunning views and beautiful sun sets can be enjoyed. There is air conditioning in the bedrooms and downstairs living and dining area, but Villa Hibiscus is an eco-friendly design allowing maximum air flow, with all rooms having ceiling fans and a natural breeze.
The 18 metre Infinity pool clad in natural stone, extends into the villa offering both deep and shallow areas, it is a fabulous feature of this luxury 3 bedroom villa and understandably becomes the central place for guests to gather and enjoy their villa holiday experience in Malaysian Borneo. There is also a separate paddling pool. To the front and side of Villa Hibiscus are lawns with various gazebos and areas for lounging, dining and enjoying a BBQ.
Access to the beach is less than a 5 minute walk via a rugged path at the front of the villa, which winds down through the jungle towards a beach gazebo and a little further to the quiet white sandy beach, a peaceful place to relax, stroll along the soft sands and take in the breathtaking beauty of the South China Sea.
Due to the villa’s remote location broadband is not yet available, there are numerous outlets offering wi-fi and internet cafes in Kudat. Hibiscus Villa has dial-up internet connection which guests may use free of charge.
