are wonderful views of the surrounding hills, forests, olive groves and the Alpe Apuane, sometimes snowcapped in the winter. The extensive rounds include a floodlit tennis court, a large swimming pool and various al fresco dining areas. The main house accommodates 22 people in eleven double bedrooms and bathrooms, and the adjacent coach house sleeps another 6 guests.

The on-site villa management team have for years looked after the guests of Villa Michaela and have also assisted with many important weddings and corporate events in and around Tuscany, the staff are also able to help guests discover the local markets, restaurants, shoe stores, perfect views and even night spots. The resident chef, is a master of the culinary art and has a varied repertoire he is even happy if guests wish to join him in the preparation of dinner either as a spectator or hands-on!

Main Villa: Off the large entrance hall, is the guest Cloakroom and Family dining room. There is a formal dining room, which leads on to the camellia and lemon gardens, a library/communications room and a TV Room. The kitchen is a Tuscan style demonstration kitchen and measures 60ft x 25ft (at widest point), this was originally the floor of the Limonaia where the age old lemon trees of the villa were stored in the winter. It is now used for cooking demonstrations, breakfast and lunch - it is a very light sunny room and wonderful in winter or summer.

Mezzanine Level - Upper Limonaia: This is part of the main house and is reached from the half landing on the main staircase, although it does also have its own separate entrance from the rear lawn if required. On this floor there are two bedrooms and an adjoining sitting area with a daybed and exterior door leading to the breakfast area with views of the olive grove.

First Floor: A corridor leads to a formal first floor Drawing room which has a grand piano and feature fireplace, with views over the lemon garden from one end of the room and views of the Alpe Apuane in the distance from the other. On this floor there are also 4 bedrooms with beautiful frescoed ceilings and one with large Jacuzzi bath.

Top Floor: Here there are an additional 4 bedrooms, one of the rooms does not have an en suite bathroom but it does have a full shower room on the lower landing which is for the exclusive use of that room.

The Coach House: Entrance Hall leads to the Drawing room and open plan kitchen complete with oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. The Dining room seats up to 8 people and there is a balcony which overlooks the rear lawn and olive grove, and other windows look out over front courtyard, the camellias, the main villa and Vorno church. There a 3 bedrooms, one downstairs, which has satellite TV and a Double bathroom with marble roman style bath, the other 2 are upstairs with views of olive groves and surrounding hills.
