La Limonaia, is located in the foothills approximately five miles from the ancient walled city of Lucca, this charming 3/4 bedroom property stands stands alongside the owner’s home within a private twenty-acre estate. In a former life “La Limonaia” - (The Lemon House) was used to store young lemon trees during the winter months, which is were the villa name derived from. The interiors of the villa have been lovingly converted into a very comfortable and attractively furnished country house, and it is surrounded by a large, well maintained gardens. The pool is on a higher level than the house, surrounded by olive trees and has panoramic views of the San Giusto di Compito valley below.
From the front entrance and the garden a double French window leads into the hallway on the ground floor. Off the hallway there is a dining room with open plan kitchen, and French windows leading out to the back garden. A wooden stairway also takes you from the entrance to the mezzanine, where there is a double bedroom, and a single bedroom with a large bathroom with shower.The mezzanine is design as a sort of mini suite with a double bedroom and adjacent study room.
