The swimming pool is 4 meters x 7 meters x 1.5 meter deep and set on a lovely terrace with landscaped gardens surrounding it.

It is a popular tourist destination and can be reached easily from Naples and Pompeii, as it is located at the south-eastern end of the Circumvesuviana rail line. The town overlooks the bay of Naples and many viewpoints in the city allow sight of Naples itself across the bay, the dormant Vesuvius and the island of Capri.

The Amalfi Drive is picturesque and is the narrow road that threads around the high cliffs above the Tyrrhenian Sea from Sorrento to Amalfi.
