Villa Californie, is a very private villa in France enjoying beautiful sea views from almost every room, over the Bay of Cannes. It has the added advantage of being spacious with modern furnishings whilst still retaining the charms of a Provençal style inside and out.
 

The accommodation at this villa in France is on two levels, on the lower level the Lounge/ dining room with stone floors and beamed ceilings and overlooks the main terrace and beyond over the bay. The dining table seats 12, and the lounge area has satellite television, stereo CD system and fireplace. There is a modern kitchen with stainless steel work surfaces with attractive wooden cupboards, and fully equipped with American fridge, microwave, dishwasher, electric oven and induction hob. On the upper level is the Master bedroom with king size bed, parquet floors, television and French windows opening out onto a small terrace connecting to the pool area. The Master bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom with bath, hand held shower and separate toilet. The second bedroom is a double with queen size bed and en-suite shower room, and the third bedroom has twin beds and en-suite shower room. There is also a Laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities. In the guest wing on the upper level, there is a further bedroom with queen size bed and television, plus sitting room with either two single beds or two armchairs and a small kitchenette area with cooking facilities and refrigerator.

Outdoors, there is a double garage at road level with access to steps leading to the villa. The split level gardens are designed in a Provençal style and planted with olive trees, citrus and palm trees, and other local plants and scrubs. The pathways lead onto various seating areas, stone fountains or small water basins. A long flagstone terrace in front of the villa offers a perfect dining area with a teak table and seating for up to 10 guests. Beautiful roses and vines climb up the pergola to offer shade from the heat of the sun. A second terrace and dining area overlooks the swimming pool and has running water and stone barbeque area. The pool, with its lion head fountain is surrounded by grass and flagstones with a bench and sun-loungers.
