Rosewood Little Dix Bay is a 500-acre garden paradise created in 1964 by Laurance Rockefeller. This exclusive luxury boutique resort is located on Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands in a crescent shaped bay along the clear blue Caribbean waters. Little Dix Bay is an idyllic setting of refined, natural elegance and the resort features extensive water sports (diving, sailing, deep-sea fishing, snorkeling), a 47-foot luxury catamaran, nature trails, proximity to the infamous “Baths”, fitness centre, seven tennis courts, children’s program (Children’s Grove offering supervised activities for children and teenagers from 3 to 16 years old, for a nominal fee), gift shop, activities centre, three restaurants (The Pavilion, The Sugar Mill, The Beach House Grill), two bars and a new beachfront swimming pool overlooking the ocean. Just off the beach lies excellent snorkelling on the coral reef which protects the bay, ensuring calm water for swimming. Rosewood Little Dix Bay offers a variety of accommodation consisting of 100 spacious and beautifully appointed guest rooms, including 16 Rosewood Jr. Suites, 4 one-bedroom suites, 1 two-bedroom villa, and 1 three-bedroom villa. Featuring
hand-crafted teak furnishings, casually elegant interiors which blend in with the landscape, the rooms are nestled among sea grape trees and bougainvillea and not visible from the water, ensuring ultimate privacy. All rooms and suites are equipped with patios and porches to take advantage of soothing breezes from Virgin Gorda’s trade winds.

The resort now has 12 villas located on the hilltop,the most private areas of the resort with only 5 in the rental program, 4 have 3 bedroom villas and one has 4 bedrooms. Each has a unique design layout, for example many have isolated master bedrooms for additional privacy.

In addition to the hilltop villas at Little Dix Bay there are two villas on the beach, one with 3 bedrooms, one with 2 bedrooms both very popular with guests due to their beach proximity.

The main differences between the 3 bedroom hilltop villas and the 3 bedroom beachfront villa, is that the hilltop villa is slightly larger. The 3 bedroom villas on hill have separate laundry rooms as well as 3 full "en suite" bedrooms with private baths, outdoor showers and the the beachfront villas has a 3rd bedroom best suited perhaps for a child or possibly a nanny.

• Garden View Rooms – Situated just off the beach, these rooms offer romantic views.
• Premium Ocean View Rooms – Located on or near the beach, these rooms offer ocean views and a private patio deck.
• Tree House Cottages – Positioned on stilts and nestled in a lush garden setting with a shared footpath to the beach, these unique, hexagonal-shaped rooms are grouped in pairs and have an expansive downstairs garden patio with hammock and upper sun deck
• Ocean Cottages – Hexagonal-shaped, four to each building with two up and two down - close to beach and beautiful ocean views, all inter connecting with extended bathroom with bath and separate shower.
• Beach Front Cottages – Hexagonal-shaped rooms, with extended bathrooms, are grouped in pairs for optimal privacy and are located on the ground level just steps away from the beach.
• Rosewood Junior Suites – the latest accommodation category enjoys breathtaking ocean views, large outdoor living area accessed via French doors leading off a spacious bedroom. The spacious bathroom includes his and hers vanities, separate shower and large soaking tub, plus an outdoor garden shower.
• One-Bedroom Suites – Perfectly located on the beach, suites include a separate bedroom and living room, large soaking tub with separate in- and outdoor shower, and private double patio.
• 2-Bedroom Villa – Located in the most private areas of the Resort, with two large bedrooms in addition to oversized living and dining area, spacious bathrooms with outdoor showers, private pool and dining pavilion/barbeque area.
• 3-Bedroom Villa – this stunning villa has three large bedrooms in addition to oversized living and dining area, spacious bathrooms with outdoor showers, private pool and dining pavilion/barbeque area.
 

• 4 bedroom Villa - located on the hilltop in the most area of the resort with 25 mile views. It has 4 large bedrooms, an over sized living and dining areas, spacious bathrooms with out door showers, a private pool and dining pavilion/BBQ area.
  

   

  In-room Features: All guestrooms include sitting area, mini-bar stocked upon request, digital in-room safe, direct dial telephones, Bose Wave Radio/CD players, individually controlled air-conditioning and ceiling fan, bathrobes and slippers, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, and umbrella.
