Frenchmans Lookout is a luxury, cliff top retreat with five beautiful air-conditioned bedrooms, a wraparound deck, hot tub, and 50-foot pool. This villa is impressive, completely private, and located on the island of Tortola, in the British Virgin Islands. It was once a infamous pirates' lookout because of its sweeping views over Sir Francis Drake Channel. The views are breathtaking, 300-degree blue-water views, considered some of the best in the Caribbean. Frenchmans Lookout is airy and spacious two-story and ideal for either a family or group of friends, and there is also access to a 35, foot yacht and captain so you can explore the surrounding waters.

The accommodation is on 2 levels, one level offers the elegantly furnished great room, a gourmet kitchen with granite countertops and grand dining room with banquet table and an air-conditioned queen bedroom/bathroom suite. On the upper level are 4 very large bedrooms and 3 tiled bathrooms, plus a well-outfitted office. All rooms open via double mahogany French doors onto the generous wraparound shady veranda, that showcases the passing sail and power yachts.

All 5 bedrooms (2 kings, 1 queen, 2 doubles (both in one bedroom) + 2 twins in one bedroom) have high-ceilings and are simply but sumptuously furnished with terra cotta floors, covered with woven sea-grass mats, plush chairs and sofas, antiques and fine art.

There is a 50-foot freshwater pool with sun all day and shallow area for children, which is surrounded by stone patios and wood decks. Adjoining the pool is a gazebo, complete with inside bar including a sink, refrigerator and a top-of-the-line built-in gas barbeque. The pool and gazebo are surrounded by lush flowering gardens and the aromas of gardenia and jasmine floats through on the cooling trade-winds. A new addition to Frenchmans Lookout is a state-of-the-art gym/recreation room, with hot tub spa, treadmill, exercise bike, full weight machine, free weights - all on a rubber gym floor with a spectacular harbour and ocean views, exposed timbers, and cooling fans. The gym also has a full billiards table, table tennis and foosball - plus a TV and Stereo--all just steps from the main house and pool.

The staff at Frenchmans Lookout are professionally trained and are available to take care of the guests every need. A private chef is also available at an additional cost.
