A winding driveway guides you through a multitude of Palm Trees and huge silk cotton trees leading up to the house itself, which expands across 14,000 square feet. The Cove has been furnished and decorated by an international designer with such quality that this will be rarely found in any other vacation villa.

Entrance to this villa in The Bahamas is through a large, antique wooden doorway leading into the flower filled courtyard, perfumed by the surrounding jasmine and tropical flowers, wonderful for outdoor dining. “The Court Yard “not only gives access to the main house but also leads to 2 separate bedrooms.
Once in the Main House you enter the spacious, air-conditioned Blue Reception Room with a breath-taking view overlooking the terrace, the Infinity Pool and the turquoise ocean beyond.
This reception room has a state of the art sound system, with stereo sound through to the courtyard, terrace and dining Area allowing for your choice of music to be played to many of both the indoor and outdoor leisure areas. Once in the Blue reception room, looking left is the “Oriole Garden”, so called because of its antique oriole surrounded by Jacaranda trees and other flowering trees.
Three sets of French windows open out on to the vaulted terrace, a charming and relaxing place to shelter from the sun, on comfortable sofas, with soft scatter cushions and unusual fossil lamps. This terrace leads to the sun-drenched much photographed Infinity Pool, which overlooks the ocean and has well maintained lawns on each side. There is also a broad staircase, carved into the rocks leading down to the unique beach. To the right, is the Rock Terrace an inviting spot to watch the most wonderful sunsets whilst sipping your favourite cocktail.
This luxury villa boasts several stunning terraces, most with spectacular sea and beach views, and each terrace with it’s own special purpose, a sunset cocktail, sunbathing, a BBQ or just to relax and enjoy the fantastic view. Close to the pool is the Infinity Terrace shaded by numerous palm trees, a superb place to enjoy lunch or dinner.
On a lower level are two more terraces carved into the rock, the Barbeque Terrace and the bottom one, the Ocean Terrace, the most stunning one of all, hangs low over the water with two glass bottom openings to enjoy the fish below. Lit at night with torches, this most magical setting will provide many unforgettable evenings.
Inside The Cove is a well equipped “Cole Porter Bar”, so called because Cole Porter spent a winter here in the 1920s composing a musical. Leading off from the bar area is the Dining Room bursting with the natural light and ocean views from the wide bay window, a fabulous feature for this room. The state of the art “kitchen” close by and is has everything a aspiring gourmet would require.
Passing the Bar, Cloak room, and spacious hallway overlooking the courtyard herb garden and the Infinity Terrace takes you to the delightful main reception room, which is furnished with European elegance and style and has a cathedral height ceiling, wood panelled walls and windows on both sides offering panoramic views, and overlooks the tropical gardens and of course the sea.
Connecting to these rooms is the Cottage, a suite of rooms including a Games Room, two bedroom suites overlooking the sea, known as the Cottage Suites and two further rooms dedicated to the Gym.
Off the Inner Courtyard is a very private spacious bedroom suite, which overlooks the garden in the front, known as the Tropical room.
On the right of the Blue reception room is the TV/Study, filled with books and DVD’s for entertainment and has French doors leading to the Pool area.
Passing another small cloakroom is another a suite with two more intercommunicating bedroom suites.
The entire second floor is taken up with 3 bedroom suites, and every suite has its own private terrace.
The Master bedroom suite , called “The Panoramic Suite” comprises some 1,100 square feet, offering a very elegant layout with private salon - dressing room, breathtaking views towards the long extended terraces in the gardens filled with an abundance of flowering jardinières. The windows in this room have fabulous views over the sea, almost like literally overhanging, and there are two marble bathrooms fitted with plenty of storage space.
Connected by a secret door to access yet another bedroom, the “Celadon Suite”, fitted with plenty of storage, an elegant bathroom and a terrace spanning the entire width of the two rooms which overlooks the pool and the beach.
Finally the “Leopard Suite”, frivolously so called after the leopard chest standing in its entrance lobby, a bedroom more masculine in its decoration, with ocean views, and like the master bedroom suite has a spacious private terrace with views over the front gardens. All the bedrooms are air-conditioned and have access to the internet.
Despite the number of bedroom the villa will ONLY accept 14 people maximum ( including babies and children)
