Little Whale Cay is a private island located 140 miles southeast of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in the Berry Island chain of the Bahamas. It was first developed in the 1930’s and provides sea front accommodation for up to 12 guests in 7 bedrooms, within 3 separate villas not forgetting the wildlife including peacocks and flamingos who also make this island paradise their home. The 3 secluded villas, Flamingo, Little Whale and Peacock each have flat screen TV’s, DVD, Music systems, i-pod docking stations, internet access and air-conditioning.

Flamingo has 3 double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a single room with 2 children’s beds, an open plan living area with an adjoining terrace plus a kitchen.

Little Whale has 2 double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a larger open plan living/dining room with fireplace an adjoining terrace with out door dining areas and BBQ, a kitchen and the chef’s accommodation.

Peacock has 1 double bedroom, bathroom an open plan living area with an adjoining terrace plus a kitchen.

Little Whale Cay has it’s own 2,000’ airstrip, suitable for light twin aircraft. Flying from Fort Lauderdale, customs can be cleared at Chub Cay - a port of entry into the Bahamas - before an onward flight of five minutes into Little Whale Cay.

Chub Cay’s airstrip is suitable for private jet aircraft, where you can transfer into a smaller aircraft or be collected by one of the Little Whale Cay island boats.

Rates include accommodation, food, drinks (including spirits and house wines), the use of all Island facilities, boats, fuel, all telephone calls and WiFi internet connection in each Guest House.

All meals are prepared by the island’s private chef according to guests’ personal preference, each menu created from delicious fresh and organic vegetables, fish and meat, with an emphasis on healthy, light dishes.

Your holiday can be as relaxed or as fun packed as you wish – A Tennis pro, Bone fish guide, Spa services, Wave runners, Scuba diving etc. can be arranged at an extra cost.
