Scotch on the Rocks is now a luxury 5 bedroom villa, resting on the pristine Sandy Bay, a swimmers paradise and only five minutes from the centre of Ocho Rios. The villa name "Scotch on the Rocks" is a reflection of both the villa's history and location, sitting on the rocks as it does and the original owner was a Scottish Lord. Scotch on the Rocks captures Jamaica's beauty and laid-back vibe, with the multi coloured tropical garden and the villa's turquoise exterior walls mirror the shades of the Caribbean Sea. The interiors décor is bright and fresh with tasteful Jamaican mahogany furniture, travertine tile floors, intricate fretwork, Caribbean art, and Chinese accessories, all helping to create a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. The accommodation is on two floors, consisting of 5 bedrooms and 5 full bathrooms. All the bedrooms are luxurious, they each have air-conditioning and the beds are dressed with fine linens, plush duvets and down pillows. The bathrooms have new travertine tiles, mahogany or travertine floors and antique Jamaican furniture. There are three upstairs bedrooms each have a private veranda, which overlooks the Caribbean Sea or the stunning tropical garden, which is filled with exotic plants, orchids and tall, shady trees providing inviting "chill out spots" on hammocks and benches.

There is a king size bed in the master bedroom and a queen size bed in each of the remaining upstairs bedrooms. There is a bedroom is located in its own cottage, which is attached to the main house, and it has a sofa, TV, and two twin beds that may be converted to a king if required, and it opens onto the breakfast patio and garden. The upper floor of the villa is an elegant living room, formal dining room, kitchen and two verandas, each with a view of the Caribbean sea. The Living room now has a 42 inch and the master bdr has a 32 inch. The other two upstairs bedrooms have 20 inch TVs, all with DVDs and the two bedrooms downstairs have 32 inch screens. The owners have also converted the downstairs TV room into a full 5 th bedroom with two twin beds, which can be converted into a king size bed, therefore, the villa can sleep 12 people comfortably.

The verandas are a particular feature, the main veranda flows onto an expansive wooden deck that looks out onto the breadth of Sandy Bay. Wooden Adirondack style chairs are placed on the deck, a perfect place to relax, sip on a cool drink and watch passing boats and seabirds on the horizon. In between the villa's two verandas is the fresh water swimming pool and a short walk down stairs from the pool deck leads to Caribbean Sea and the private pier and gazebo, which stands on the edge of the pier and provides a respite from the midday sun or a romantic spot to watch the sunset. Alongside the pier is a shallow, sandy alcove that gives easy access to the sea, and the bay is protected by a reef with clear waters just like a large "swimming pool." The bay is best explored either by swimming, kayaking or by taking a boat ride, to the north of the pier is the reef, with great snorkelling to see the tropical fish and brightly coloured corals and a short boat ride to the west is the world famous Dunn's River Falls. On the other side of the house is the dining patio and breathtaking views. Scotch on the Rocks is the ideal villa for families or romantic getaways, it is very private and has a full staff of four to lavish you with typical Jamaican hospitality.
