The unique design of Mount Hartman Bay estate Grenada merges the main house into the hillside with a grass and cactus roof and internal running waterfalls, from the moment you arrive, your welcome begins. Many of the locals call it the "Cave House" due to a large door set into the cliff at the end of the helipad and private jetty, which transports guests by elevator to the main reception room. Others see a "Hobbit" house or even Tracy island from Thunderbirds, but it is a very special and stunning property in a fabulous location complemented by the staff who deliver a quality service. Mount Hartman bay itself is a sheltered inlet guarded at its entrance by coral reefs and is consider one the most beautiful in the Caribbean

A day at Mount Hartman Bay Estate, may begin with a gentle jog around the estate, a refreshing swim in the 27 metre pool, or just enjoying a lingering breakfast soaking up the surrounding paradise. Later on maybe partake in some water skiing off the back of "Yellow Peril" a 15ft water jet boat, or snorkeling over the reefs on the sea scooters to marvel at the colourful marine life below. If you prefer on land activities, drive off for an island tour in one of the 2 Mitsubishi shoguns, built for the island terrain and so you can explore the rainforest scenery. If that doesn't appeal then take a trip to a neighbouring with a picnic on board the 43 foot air-conditioned motor cruiser, the captain knows the waters around Grenada very well and he knows all the best picnic spots too. Indoors, the house too is well equipped with entertaining apparatus, you can surf the net, challenge the kids on the Playstation, watch one of the multiple cable channels, sit back and relax in front of a movie on the 50" flat screen TV or find you own peace simply read a book from the ever growing library.

Preparing for dinner is a real experience, the staff will happily serve your sunset cocktail whilst you gaze out onto the bay as it becomes tranquil and flat just before the sun sets each evening. Then the award winning Grenadian chef, Roger Williams, who is known for providing "the best food on the island" will not only titillate your taste buds but your eyes too, with his selection of beautifully prepared and presented menus. Roger cooks using a blend of selected imported items and the best island ingredients, including the superb local fish and the spices such as cloves, nutmeg, ginger and many more, which is why Grenada is called "Spice" island. The dining table can seat twenty two and has been expertly hand-made on site from purple-heart wood and green Brazilian butterfly granite. In the evenings, settle down in the comfort of the vaulted drawing room where antiques and modern furniture are mixed with Indian and Chinese silk rugs provide an intimate yet spacious feel. This beautiful room can be open on two sides it has wonderful views and seats over thirty people in comfort with plenty of space to spare.

Cave House and Folly can sleep up to sixteen. so after all that sun, sea, air and great food, you can retire to one of 7 huge air-conditioned king-size bedrooms with large bathrooms, many with 4 poster beds, all have antique and modern furniture, 42" flat screen TV, cable TV and DVD player.  The Beach House Grenada can be booked as part of the Main House or on its own. If it is booked as part of a total party including the Main House, then guests enjoy the same facilities and services and all meals would be served at the Main House.
