The Great House is a favourite villa in Barbados for the rich and famous, and its extensive tropical gardens have been well maintained with total privacy in mind. In the main house, there four delightful suites, each of a similar size, with 3 upstairs and one on the ground floor, some with garden views and others with ocean views, but each individually decorated with a typically tropical plantation house feel. The elegant lounge has an adjoining TV/music room, which has surround sound, baby grand piano, TV and VCR and a wraparound porch leading to the pool. Alongside the pool can be found the focal point of the house which is the entertaining room complete with coral stone bar, fridge, ice maker, comfortable sofas and 43" screen TV. In January 2011 this entertaining room was extended and doubled in size with new sofa's, chairs and tables.

A pathway from the main house of this large villa in Barbados, provides access to the two chattel houses, each chattel house has 2 bedrooms which can be adjoining, so making them ideal for families staying wanting to be together. Their decor is more traditional then the main house, with their pickled pine walls and pitched ceilings, all have en-suite, dressing rooms, air-conditioning and ceiling fans.

The manicured gardens of this 8 bedroom villa in Barbados, provide many choices for dining, there are gazebos for afternoon tea, or sunset cocktails, or for dining by candlelight and if guest wish for more formal dining for up to 18 there are beautiful chandeliers, that flicker off the hand painted walls. New tables and chairs have been positioned in the garden also which will allow outside dining for 20 persons.

Just a stroll through the garden leads to the calm blue waters of the Caribbean Sea and the beautiful white sandy beach. From here guests of The Great House, Barbados can use the services of Sea Breeze, a 30ft Grady White pleasure boat which is available daily from 9am - 5pm to enjoy a variety of water-sports such as water skiing, wakeboarding and inflatables, alternatively take guests to another beach to enjoy a relaxing picnic, swim with the turtles or to lunch at a beachfront restaurant - the choices are up to you !
