History
The first mention of the Hall is in 1580 when it was owned by Dorothy Stanley. It was enlarged by Sir Thomas Stanley around 1630 and Sir Edward Stanley added to it in 1754.In 1779 the original house was burnt down and subsquently re built but not as Grand as the former House.
