Cape Town is located on a peninsular that juts out, which is the Cape of Good Hope where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet. It is one of the most stunning cities in the world, boasting the magnificent backdrop of Table Mountain and a beautiful rugged coastline with pure white sandy beaches. There a cosmopolitan atmosphere created by the Dutch, British and Malay influence and is reflected the culture and the cuisine of the thriving restaurant industry. The lively Victoria and Albert Waterfront, is a modern harbour complex, filled with designer shops, arts, crafts, bars, restaurants and fast food places, very pretty and safe to walk around. It is relatively inexpensive to eat out due to good exchange rate, and the people are totally focused on providing a high standard of service.

Cape Town has a host of well preserved historical buildings, such as the Castle of Good Hope, the oldest building in South Africa dating back to 1679, and on the outskirts there are many scenic drives, beaches and vineyards to explore. Our villa portfolio includes properties on or close to some of the excellent beaches including Llandudno, Camps Bay and Clifton, known as the "Cape Riviera" because of the amazing homes commanding incomparable views along the spectacular coastline, but they can get busy in high season. Camps Bay, is 5 minutes drive from the from Waterfront, it is a trendy wealthy area, with lots of bars and restaurants, and sloping streets leading down to the beach.

If you are looking for the quieter suburbs of Newlands and Constantia, we have a selection of beautifully appointed villas in spacious private grounds. Constantia is the oldest wine growing area in South Africa and only 20 minutes drive from Cape Town's centre and the Waterfront. One of the "must do" scenic drives would be from Chapman's Peak to Cape Point, which has some of the best views driving along the cliff edge down towards the Atlantic coast. Alternatively, drive through the Cape Mountains taking in Sir Lowry's Pass, which provides dramatic views of False Bay, Franschoek pass and wonderfully cultivated farmland finishing in the University town of Stellenbosch, with its gracious Dutch Cape buildings and oak lined streets. The Garden Route and Little Karoo is a region rich with rivers, mountains, lakes, white sandy beaches and forests providing homes for a large variety of bird and marine life. The Rovos rail or Blue train, provide luxury rail options to explore The Garden Route, Rovos rail is a diesel powered modern train, and the Blue train is a period steam engine.

One of the great things about surfing in Cape Town is, because of the shape of False Bay and the Peninsula , there always somewhere ready to surf. South Africa is blessed with fantastic weather and it's rare that surfers will not find a perfect day, somewhere along this vast shoreline.

Car hire is recommended so that you will be able to explore some areas at your own pace. There are, however, many tours which depart on a regular basis from Cape Town our local villa agent will be more than happy to assist. To hire a car, you will need a valid International or British driving licence. Driving is on the left.

Our main villa locations are Constantia, Atlantic seaboard (i.e. Camps Bay , Bakoven, Clifton , Llandudno Bantry Bay ), Hout Bay, False Bay  to name but a few - call us with your specific request and we will take care of the rest.

Constantia Homes will have anything from 4 to 8 bedrooms, all very upmarket, set in huge grounds, mountain views and big pools. Mostly available in Dec, Jan, and Easter, 14 night minimum stay over Xmas period but check if client requests a shorter duration. Most will consider at 7 nights if there is another booking already in place or at a higher rate. A smaller number of homes are available<
