The Galapagos is an all year round destination, the weather is always pleasant. You may consider the cold season (July – October) but it's still warm for shorts, t-shirts and lots of swimming. This time of year is possibly more pleasant for the hikes. In the warmer months (November to June) the hikes can be uncomfortable, and the thought of a cool off swim is very inviting. August is a really pleasant time for the walks and for bird watching etc. The true benefit of coming from July to October, is the wildlife. They prefer the cooler time of the year. There is more upswelling in the ocean, which means more food which means more fish, more birds..more everything.
