Information on Florida
Florida known to us all as "The Sunshine State", overflows with places to go, things to do - and in such vast variety that everyone's passion will be fulfilled. The beautiful beaches stretch over 1,000 miles around the coastline and if you were to walk along one mile of beach every day, it would take you almost 3 years to cover the whole state of Florida. There is lively Daytona Beach or the surfers paradise at Cocoa Beach, both are about an hours drive from Orlando. For the sporting anglers the surrounding waters have been making dreams come true for many years, so to charter a boat and go deep sea fishing is a regular choice. The restaurants serve every style of cuisine, they are good value and serve generous portions or many operate one fee for as much as you can eat! If fishing is not your thing, then explore the waters from fish-eye's view, pop on a mask and swim the colourful marine life. The great climate of Florida allows golfers to hit the greens 365 days a year, and there are an abundance of challenging championships all over the state.
We have a selection of well located luxury villas in various estate style communities in the Disney Orlando area, such as the Southern Dunes Country Club, Emerald Island and Indian Creek, Sunset Ridge and Westridge to name but a few. Each of the villas is individually owned and have private screened pools, fully equipped modern kitchens and they range from three to seven bedrooms. Some have additional facilities such as a games room and high speed internet connection. Local transport is non-existent and taxis can be expensive, so we recommend you hire a car or minivan for the duration of your stay. Orlando itself needs no introduction, Walt Disney World created the town of Lake Buena Vista, the ultimate family destination where the theme parks and non-stop activities attract families from all over the world. Orlando has so much more, there is high-class shopping on an enormous scale, from upscale clothing boutiques and home decor shops to factory outlet stores and colourful flea markets. There are local museums, sporting activities, performance arts, world-class resorts with all the facilities they have to offer, and the outlying towns and with their own distinct personality.
